Meet the Steering Committee for Arab Integration at Tel Aviv University.

The Arab Integration Steering Committee is headed by Dr. Yosef Mashharawi,
which includes the Vice President, the Academic General Secretariat, the
Dean\s Office, the Marketing Department, the Budgets Department, the
Students Syndicate, the heads of various colleges and senior lecturers from Tel
Aviv University.
One of the most important objectives of the committee is to discuss and solve
the problems and difficulties of Arab students. As well as working to increase
the proportion of Arab students, lecturers and staff at the university. These
projects include:

1. To increase the percentage of Arab students and balancing their
registration of various subjects.
2. To increase the number of Arab lecturers at the university.
3. To increase the number of Arab employees in the university.
4. Intensify the arrival of Arab students in open days with special services.
5. Conducting conferences for managers and consultants from the
knowledge department at the university.
6. Receive thousands of secondary students throughout the year and
accompany them with a special program on campus.
7. Work on the access to the Arabic language on campus.
8. Establishing "Jusoor" preparatory program for Arab high school
graduates.
9. Provide a reduced study counselling program for Arab students.
10. Processing the failure rate.
11. Holding various activities for non-traditional educational topics to
expose Arab students to it.
12. Participation in various education fairs in the country
13. Encourage the spirit of belonging among the Arab students in the
university.
It is noteworthy that this committee has worked in the last two years on these
goals and has achieved a lot of successes and facilities for Arabs in various
academic and community areas.
