“Formola” of Tel Aviv University reaches Tirah

The Tel Aviv University participated, through the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, in the
Computer Festival for Modern Technologies, which was held in the municipality of Al-Tirah.
Where a “Formola” racing car that was fully designed, manufactured and installed by Tel
Aviv University students from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. The car was very
popular with the audience at the exhibition, where details and stages of its manufacture
were explained by university student Amir Sharif, from the hood of one of the members of
the manufacturing crew.
It is noteworthy that the festival was held by "Hassoub" Association to increase technical
awareness and develop technological initiatives in the Arab community, amid the tireless
work of the residents of this festival from the Computer Society represented by both Mr.
Hassan Abu Shula and Mr. Rabie Zayoud.
The festival aims to expose the Arab community with all its slides on everything that is
modern in the world of technology in various fields and how to develop this technology and
its impact on our daily life.
Dozens of start-ups and amazing technology stations participated in the festival. Thousands
of participants from all countries from all segments and generations of society arrived to
this event.

Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Tel Aviv is to unveil the enormous
capabilities that the Arab student can reach and the large areas open to him in technical
subjects, Out of the ordinary common themes, as well as showing the high level reached by
