Tel Aviv University hosts the Second Advanced Association of Pioneers-Yasa Conference.
Tel Aviv University on Tuesday hosted “the Second Advanced Association of
Pioneers-Yasa” Conference, which aims to promote and encourage Arab
academic students to continue their education and continue their academic
career of advanced titles, especially in science and technology fields. Which
brought together university students from all academic institutions in the
country, which Tel Aviv University supported this unique conference at various
levels in order to support and increase the percentage of Arab academic
As a representative of the university, the conference was opened with a special
welcome word from Dr. Yusuf Mashharawi, lecturer at the university and a
specialist in physiotherapy and "Chairman of the Steering Committee for the
Integration of Arabs in the University." In his welcoming speech, he explained
the opportunities that are available to Arab students, such as support, grants
and assistance, especially at Tel Aviv University, to continue advanced titles in
various subjects, especially science and technology.
This conference was divided into two sections (Science and Technology).
lecturers and senior scientists from the Arab community who passed their
personal experience in the academic journey until they reach very high degrees
in academic achievement and global achievements.
Among the prominent lecturers who participated in the conference from Tel
Aviv University: Dr. Raja Jeries, a specialist in electrical engineering and
doctoral students Alaa Samara researcher in leukaemia and Iman Jaljuli
researcher in the subject of statistics.
It is worth mentioning that this conference is the second year in a row
organized by the Yasa Group (Association of Young Arab Scientists), which is
affiliated with the Pioneers Association for Science and Technology, which in
turn took on the task of establishing a society spreading a modern scientific
and technological vision that is an integral part of public discourse and public
dialogue in the Arab society.
